Capital Equity Legal Group, abbreviated as CELG, is the first and the exclusive legal group firm in Zhejiang province, which was originated in 1997. The word “Capital” pronounced in Chinese as “Jing” means the capital of the country which represents Chinese long history legal system. The word “Equity” pronounced in Chinese as “Heng” means justice which represents the extract spirit of equity law of English legal system. The name “Capital Equity” stands for absorbing the spirit of both eastern and western legal rules, searching the original legal principles and seeking the equity and justice.

　　The Group consists of five offices respectively in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Huzhou and Wenzhou and the Principal Office of the Group is located at Hangzhou. The Beijing Office and Shanghai Office are on the process of preparation.

　　The Principal Office of Capital Equity Legal Group is located at Huanglong business central area near the beautiful West Lake of Hangzhou, having the space of 1300 square meters with the top official facilities and conditions. It has been remarkably developing on the aspects of excellent persons, outstanding achievements and honorable reputation since it was named as Capital Equity in 2003, and has become one of the well-known law firms in China with nearly 100 lawyers in various professional fields. It was awarded the honor of Lawyer Education Advanced Collectivity of Hangzhou Cityin 2004 and Excellent Law Firm of Hangzhou Cityin 2005. The branch of Chinese Communist Party of the Group was awarded the honor of Advanced Branch of Chinese Communist Party.

　　 Capital Equity Legal Group presently is provided with plenty of experienced professional lawyers. The Director of the Group, Mr. Chen Youxi, holding the posts including the Vice Director of the Constitute & Human Rights Committee of China Bar Association, the Deputy Secretary-General of Intellectual Property Committee, the member of Legal Experts committee of Public Security Department of Zhejiang Province and the tutor for LLM students of Central Financial & Economic University, is appraised as a distinguished lawyer specializing both in legal practice and theoretical research. All the lawyers of the Group are at least with bachelor degree and nearly 40 of them have the senior law professional titles, juris degree, master degree on law, MBA degree or double degree on law and other subject such as medicine, engineering, economy, etc. Also, more than 10 of the lawyers are qualified with double professional titles of law and either the registered accountant, registered tax accountant or senior economist. In addition, 6 persons ever studied abroad and were awarded either master degree or juris degree with the capability to directly provide legal service in skilled English or Japanese.

　　Upon the establishment of the Legal Group, the Principal Office, on the basis of the present human resource status and the development stratagem of large scale, top service, specialization and internationalization, reorganized the existing legal departments to totally 18 departments in accordance with the development situation and individual professional specialty, which include criminal, civil & commercial, administrative, international, financial & insurance, listing abroad, medical & environmental, labor dispute, intellectual property, maritime affairs & commerce, construction & real estate, trust, etc. The various specialized work teams are capable of collaboratively providing comprehensive legal service to national and international clients.

Also, the oversea offices of the Group are proposed to be set up in the near future. For adapting the requirements of WTO and the international economic integration, the Group all along attaches importance to introducing into the excellent professional lawyers qualified in China or abroad and the capable persons with at least oversea LLM degree and skilled foreign language. At present, the Group has sent couple of lawyers under the governmental financial support to Belgium and America for legal training and international communication.
